     An Austin police officer shoots our "Bullet Resistant"  Jeep 4 times with a 7.62 NATO sniper's rifle, then 4 more times with an AK47, with no penetration to the interior! This was filmed by Austin's KVUE TV cameras and the Austin American Statesman cameras in January 1991.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

MULTIPLE LAYER TRANSPARENT ARMOR WINDOWS- look like conventional OEM windows. Our transparent armor meets or exceeds U.L. 752 and N.I.J. 0108.01 requirements.

OPAQUE ARMOR- One or more of the following:(Spectra Shield(tm), Ceramic composites, Kevlar(tm), military steel, ballistic nylon) is hand installed in the doors, sides, pillars, floor and roof.

RADIATORS- protected by Stainless Steel screens (depending on vehicle).

RUN-FLAT TIRE INSERTS-allow escape after puncture.

FUEL TANK PROTECTION-tanks are protected by ballistic quilts with the option of safety foam  on the inside to prevent explosion if punctured.

BATTERY PROTECTION- batteries and computer components under the hood are protected by ballistic steel.

SUSPENSION UPGRADE- Larger diameter springs (if necessary) and heavy duty gas shock absorbers are installed to allow the driver to escape an ambush.

• We will be happy to armor the vehicle of your choice. We recommend using vehicles that will not attract attention to you. We suggest that you consider choosing vehicles in dark gray, dark blue, etc.
  
• Cars with unibody construction are not as strong as ladder frame vehicles and will not last as long with the added weight of the armor(200-400Kg, depending on the level of protection and the size of the vehicle).

• The focus of our protection packages is high performance, blending into the vehicle environment, and the ability to absorb the attack and break the ambush.
• We have two protection levels: NIJ Level IIIA for handgun calibers like the 9mm and the .44 Magnum. NIJ Level III protects against high powered rifles like the 7.62x39 AK47, the 7.62x51 NATO and the 5.56 NATO in military ball.
