Bodyguard Armoring is the only company in the industry specializing in rehabbing out of date or damaged Peacekeeper armored vehicles for Police Departments. We specialize in bringing them back to the tactical integrity of a new Tactical Armored Vehicle.
Peacekeeper armored vehicles were originally built for the US Air Force and the Navy by the Cadillac Gage company in the early 1980's on Dodge Ramcharger truck chassis . About 700 were later given to American Police Department SWAT teams. Many of them are still in daily service, but the chassis are worn out. The armor body is like an M1 tank-it does not wear out!
We can refurbish it! We remove your Peacekeper Armored vehicle's body, customize and upgrade it complete with MORE ARMOR, new transparent armor windows, a new interior and new paint, and remount it on a brand new one ton regular cab 4x4 heavy duty truck chassis
(Ford, Dodge or GM)
Cost is $100,000-$140,000.

Freight to ship your Peacekeeper to our shop costs about .75 cents/mile.
Our first Peacekeeper rehab, owned by the Killeen, Texas Police Department went into daily service in September, 2003 and is still going strong with no issues.
Your choice of two styles:
The platform style has a platform on the back and sides that is easy to deploy from at night. Officers can use its armor side shields and roof deflector as a shooting platform, and there is a ladder to climb on to the roof.
*This one has a 2006 Dodge Ram chassis with a Hemi engine.
The Stretched limo style Peacekeeper is stretched 44" and fully enclosed-nice if you are in a very snowy climate!
*This one has a 2009 Ford F550 4x4 chassis, larger windows, doors and hood, and Ford F550 headlights.

We replaced the old 1981 Dodge Ramcharger chassis with a brand new 2009 Ford F550 chassis. Then we stretched the Peacekeeper body 44", enlarged the hood to give full access to the new Ford engine compartment, lowered the front doors to create a 3" sill, enlarged the windows and added 2 more, replaced the old headlights with those from the 2009 F550, and built full length running boards. There is not another Peacekeeper like this one anywhere in the world!

New 2009 Ford dash with new electronics, radio, A/C and heater, airbags, seat and seatbelts.
Now there is room for 9-12 officers and their gear to ride inside protected from the elements.

The hood has been expanded to allow complete access to the new engine compartment.

"AFTER"
Killeen, Texas PD Peacekeeper with a Dodge Ram 4x4 chassis we rebuilt in 2003.
Note the rear deck with armor side protection, a ladder to the roof, and an armor deflector on the roof. The rear deck allows officers to slip quietly off the vehicle. The roof is coated with bedliner material to create a rough surface for an extension ladder to climb up to rooftops or balconies.
This Killeen Tx Police Department Peacekeeper was completed in September, 2003 and has been in daily use ever since. After 8 years it is just getting new tires and shock absorbers!
This Killeen, Tx police department SWAT truck was shown on FOX NEWS rushing to the scene at the Fort Hood, Texas shootings on November 5, 2009 backing up the Ft. Hood police department by going door to door checking each nearby building for shooters.
